Closing Programs With Task Manager

Sometimes you may have a program that is stuck and the red X in the upper right corner will not close it.  In this instance, you may have to close it using the Task Manager.  Follow these steps to launch the Task Manager.

1. Right click on the Taskbar
2. Click on “Start Task Manager”
3. Click on the stuck program
4. Click the End Task button
5. Click the End Now button on the box that pops up

 This will close all instances of that program that are open.
